Level 1: Acting courses for beginners 18+

These classes are open to everyone (aged 18+), no matter what your level of experience. The courses aim to introduce you to the core performance skills required to get you started

"I cannot recommend the beginner courses enough! As a reasonably shy individual who really lacks confidence when faced with performing and presenting, the course has helped me to find my voice."

Actors' Workout Courses for actors 18+

Aimed at those who have had previous theatre training - you might be on a year out before Drama School or perhaps you want to continue your training with us as an adult or are ready to move up from our Beginners courses.

In these classes you will develop further insight into established methods and techniques, through practice, critical reflection and in-class performances. These workshops are both practical and challenging.

Youth theatre for ages 11-18

We offer weekly acting classes for ages 11-14 and run a theatre company for those aged 15-18. Our workshops and rehearsals explore a range of drama techniques and theatrical forms including physical theatre, comedy, devising, improvisation and working with text.

Drama classes for ages 4-10

Our weekly drama classes at the Shoebox Theatre are designed to support your child in their creative development. We introduce children to interesting stories, characters and text in an imaginative and fun way. As well as developing their performance skills, students will learn to work with others, build confidence and improve their communication skills.

Masterclasses and short courses

Our Masterclasses and short courses are run throughout the year by visiting practitioners and usually last between 1-3 days.

They are designed to provide actors with affordable high-quality training.
